  • What is phonics?

    Today everyone knows about phone. Something related to phone is phonic nothing but related to sound. Here children learn to understand the sound of each and every letter of English alphabet and learn how to blend them in a proper way to pronounce a whole word through which they become independent readers.


  • How does phonics help children?

    With the help of this, child learns to segment the word into different sound patterns and learn to blend them in a proper way and read the words through which they become independent readers.


  • What is the difference between phonic method and traditional method?

    The traditional method is called as whole language method where children has to by heart the spellings of words and memorize them, where as phonic methodology is a skill through which child understands the sounds of every letters and learns to blend them and step forward to become and independent readers.


  • What is the difference between Phonics and Phonetics?

    phonics [fŏn'ĭks] is the term usually employed when speaking of a method of beginning reading instruction. In this use, phonics is regarded as a simplified form of phonetics [fə-nĕt'ĭks], which is the scientific study of speech sounds. One more way of explaining it is Phonics is related to the sound and letters relationship and helps children to develop a reading skills where as phonetic method is symbolical representation to show the actual pronunciation of the word. It is shown in the bracket.


  • Why phonics is required?

    A survey report shows that 40% of Indian kids are unable to read well in English & 60% of children aged 7 to 13 cannot read a paragraph.44% of parents wait for a year or more to get help for their kids. Indian parents want their kids learn English very well. English is an accepted global language. Reading habit is most developed at a younger age. Ideal program for children who are ESL (English as second language)
